Data Analysis: EXTRA CREDIT (please put it on construction paper or use poster board)

A RULER needs to be used for straight lines!!!

1.    Select 4 popular FLORIDA travel destinations. Ex. Disney,
2.    Survey 20 people (or more) your family, friends, neighbors etc. on which of the 4 locations they’d most like to visit.
3.    Keep track of their responses on a tally chart in which you create two frequency charts to display their answer.  Be sure to separate the adult response from the student responses.
4.    You will be creating a double bar graph comparing the adult –vs- children.
5.    The horizonal axis must have the four locations and the vertical axis must have equal intervals (not necessarily by 1’s).
6.    Make the adult and child bar different colors but connected above each location.
7.    Find the mean, median, mode, and range for the adult vs the child responses.

The extra credit is due:  Friday- Nov. 19 or Monday- November 22 on construction paper or half a poster board.  DO NOT TURN IN SOMETHING THAT YOU DID NOT USE A RULER TO MAKE ME STRAIGHT LINES.  DO NOT TURN IN SOMETHING THAT IS JUST THROWN TOGETHER.  I WILL NOT ACCEPT MESSY WORK OR WORK THAT LOOKS AS IF IT TOOK YOU 5 MINUTES.
It will graded on: creativity, neatness, presentation, accuracy of the graph.

PLEASE, NO PROJECTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THANKSGIVING BREAK.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
